Membership at PLC

We are on a mission to be a No Matter Church. We have a vision to Reach Iowa. But what does that mean for you?

Membership is a step for you if you're ready to go all-in on our specific mission to be a No Matter church and vision to reach Iowa. If you've stepped over the Faith Line, been baptized, and are engaged at Prairie Lakes Church, Membership is the next step for you!

Members are actively seeking to reorient their lives around making disciples in their Little Iowa by following Jesus' command to love God, love their neighbor, and make disciples. Membership also allows you to vote on the church budget, property purchases, Elder nominations, and the hiring of a Lead Pastor.

  2. Membership Class 2 | No Matter Follower
    Learn about what it means to be a No Matter Follower of Jesus and the values of a disciple-making life.
  3. Affirmation Interview
    An opportunity for you to express your alignment with Prairie Lakes' mission and vision and talk about your goals to grow as a disciple-maker.
  4. Voted in by the Elder Board
    Campuses recommend Member candidates from affirmation interviews to be voted into Membership by the Elder Board.
  5. Weekend Commissioning
    A celebration and commissioning (sending out) of new Prairie Lakes Members during a weekend service!
