James and Chao Wanje have worked as missionaries in their nation Kenya for more than 15 years and are passionate about transforming communities through the local church. Through Sowing Seeds of Joy Kenya, they equip and nurture churches and communities primarily in the Coastal region by focusing on marriage and family outreach, pastoral and church leadership development, youth and child outreach specifically through the soccer and high school empowerment programs, and humanitarian outreaches including Water for Life and food distribution.
The ministry has recently begun construction of a training center. This location will host seminars to train pastors, church leaders, and couples and serve as a place where youth can play soccer and hear the Gospel.
