Video Content
During our series in Galatians, we’re learning from both the Teaching Team during weekend services and group videos during the week. These are available on PLC’s YouTube channel and posted on Sunday mornings as the series progresses. They include additional content about each week’s Scripture section and discussion questions for your group.
Discussion Questions
1. Read Galatians 2:11–16. Is it clear to you why Paul was so concerned with Peter (Cephas’) behavior with the Gentiles? What did Peter’s behavior communicate?
2. Do you feel pressure to operate differently based on the group of friends, coworkers, or family you’re around? What problems has that created for you or those around you?
3. In what ways might we unintentionally send the message that certain people have to “be more like us” in order to belong in the family of God?
4. Look back over this past year—have you been excited to share the grace of Jesus with anyone? Do you find yourself surrounded by Christians like yourself? Why or why not?
5. Picture people who are very far from Jesus—in whatever way that looks to you. What attitudes, habits, or assumptions would get in the way of showing God’s grace to them? What’s one specific thing you could do this week to begin changing that?
