Prairie Lakes Church partners with Adonai International Ministries to provide healthcare in rural Guatemala while sharing the love of Christ. They operate various rural medical clinics, share the Gospel and pray with patients, and children and families in other ministry projects.

January 25-February 3, 2026

Prairie Lakes Church partners with Adonai International Ministries to provide healthcare and share the love of Christ in rural Guatemala. This trip will focus on supporting the ministry’s medical outreach by serving in various clinics, assisting with patient care, and encouraging both patients and staff. Opportunities may include observing and/or assisting with clinics, praying with patients, hosting day camps for missionary kids, light construction projects, and connecting with the missionaries and their families. You do not need to be a medical professional to participate—there are ways for everyone to serve and make a meaningful impact.

March 8-16, 2026

Prairie Lakes Church partners with Adonai International Ministries, which provides healthcare and shares the love of Christ in rural Guatemala. This trip will focus on helping assemble "Safety Homes"—sturdy, weather-resistant structures that will be used by the ministry to expand and support their medical outreach and other programs. Team members will work alongside local missionaries, using their skills to make a tangible difference. In addition to the build, there will be opportunities to connect with and encourage missionaries and ministry staff and support other ongoing projects. No construction experience is required—just a willingness to serve, learn, and be part of what God is doing in Guatemala. 

March 21-30, 2026

Prairie Lakes Church partners with Adonai International Ministries to provide healthcare and share the love of Christ in rural Guatemala. This trip will focus on helping host Family Day for the Adonai staff and their families—a special time of refreshment, connection, and encouragement as they prepare for Semana Santa (Holy Week). Team members will help plan and run activities, engage with kids and adults, and create an atmosphere of joy and celebration. This is a hands-on opportunity to bless and strengthen those who serve on the frontlines of ministry all year long. No special skills are required—just a heart to serve and a willingness to be part of what God is doing in Guatemala.

April 19-28, 2026

Prairie Lakes Church partners with Adonai International Ministries to provide healthcare and share the love of Christ in rural Guatemala. This trip will focus on supporting the ministry’s medical outreach by serving in various clinics, assisting with patient care, and encouraging both patients and staff. Opportunities may include observing and/or assisting with medical procedures, praying with patients, helping with school outreach, and connecting with the missionaries and their families. You do not need to be a medical professional to participate—there are ways for everyone to serve and make a meaningful impact.

May 24-June 2, 2026

Allen College and Prairie Lakes Church partner with Adonai International Ministries to provide healthcare and share the love of Christ in rural Guatemala. This trip gives nursing students the opportunity to engage in cross-cultural healthcare by observing and assisting in rural medical clinics, supporting procedures, sharing the Gospel and praying with patients, and connecting with the full-time missionaries and their families. Students will also host VBS for missionary kids, creating a fun and encouraging environment for them while their parents serve in ministry.

This is a closed trip for Allen College nursing students.
