Care is a ministry of compassion that meets the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the Prairie Lakes Church family and surrounding community. The Care ministry brings God’s hope and comfort to hurting individuals.
CHAPLAIN VISITS
Chaplain visits provide care and comfort to those in need. If you are experiencing physical, emotional or spiritual needs, we would like to come alongside and extend to you the love of Christ. Our Chaplain visits serve you in hospitals, homebound settings and when you’re experiencing crisis situations. As we learn of a need, we seek to have a presence and share God’s hope and comfort. Chaplains also welcome opportunities to celebrate the birth of family members! I would like a Chaplain visit.
CARELINK
CARELink provides preliminary counseling to those experiencing difficulty. When you are experiencing seasons of emotional strain, CARELink provides an opportunity to meet with counselors for one or two initial visits. These volunteers are available to help you through situational difficulties. Referrals are offered if you would benefit from further counseling.
COMPASSION FUNDS (Benevolence)
Compassion funds exist to serve the short-term needs of people in a time of financial difficulty. If you are experiencing circumstances which have prompted unexpected personal or financial distress, it is our desire to help meet that need.
