Enhance-Communicate

Luke 4:43: “But he said, ‘I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.’”

Father, You have commanded us to preach the good news of Your Kingdom. Equip us with the tools and the means to operate effectively and efficiently as one church in many locations. Break down any communication barriers that may prevent us from delivering Your Word to all the campuses throughout Iowa.

Enhance-Enlarge His Righteousness

2 Corinthians 9:10: “Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.”

Dear Lord, we know the greater the resources at our disposal, the greater possibility of misusing those resources. Provide us with discernment about the accountability that comes with accumulating wealth for Your Kingdom. Humble us and move in us to remain submissive as we work to enlarge the harvest of Your righteousness.

Enhance-Let the Light Shine

Isaiah 60:1, 3-5: “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you ... Nations will come to your light and kings to the brightness of your dawn. Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you; your sons come from afar and your daughters are carried on the arm. Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy; the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the nations will come.”

Father, You have given us the opportunity to reach more people in the Cedar Valley. We desire to be a more effective, relevant and visible presence in Waterloo. Open doors for us as we seek a permanent location, but keep us at peace as we wait on Your perfect timing.

Enhance-Strengthen Staff

1 Samuel 17:45: “David said to the Philistine, You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.”

Lord, thank you for reminding us You can use anyone, no matter how young, for your Kingdom. Give us wisdom to select a Student Ministries staff in Osage who will reach the youth and engage them for Christ. Align their desire to serve with Your desire to reach more students and families in the Osage area.

Enhance-Invest in the Future

1 Kings 6:11-13: “The word of the LORD came to Solomon: 'As for this temple you are building, if you follow my decrees, carry out my regulations and keep all my commands and obey them, I will fulfill through you the promise I gave to David, your father. And I will live among the Israelites and will not abandon my people Israel.'”

Lord, please move in us to be obedient to Your commands as we carry out improvements to the Cedar Falls Campus. Lead us as we work to improve the facility, yet keep us in the center of Your will so we give You all the glory.
